As part of the exhibition, we will present the works of twenty illustrators and several writers. The oldest comic featured is 'The Viking's Defeat' by Grzegorz Rosiński from 1976, while the newest works were created in 2017. These comics delve into the history of Poland, from ancient times to the present day. The exhibition includes artists from various backgrounds, working in different styles and employing diverse techniques, all with unique approaches to storytelling. Many of the authors tackle challenging topics, delving into the history of the past few decades, which still greatly influences the present.

The "Magma Project" is an attempt to create a panorama of contemporary Polish comics. We will showcase the works of artists from various backgrounds, drawing in different styles, using various techniques, and exploring diverse themes. We will present works in the realm of fantasy (science fiction, fantasy), historical comics, underground comics, philosophical comics, social comics, satirical comics, and children's comics. As part of the exhibition, we will present various artistic strategies in approaching storytelling and narrative. You will be able to see both experimental and entertaining comics. Among the authors, representatives of the younger and middle generations dominate. We will feature the works of artists who have received numerous awards both in the country and abroad in the fields of comics, literature, and visual arts.
